Hi, friend! Welcome!
I’m Danielle. I received my undergrad from Kansas State University (Go Wildcats!) and master’s from that other big Kansas school. Ha! I’ve lived in the Kansas City-area my entire life, but have traveled to many places around the world! I have one son, Will and a wonderful husband.
I’ve been a speech-language pathologist for the past 12 years, and you’ll see my recommendations about how to help your child with speech-language development and overall learning.
About my Recommendations
The toys, apps, tips, products I recommend are just that–recommendations. They aren’t a diagnosis (or treatment plan.) They are simply resources you could use to work with your child on communication skills at home. If you are at all concerned that your child may have a speech-language delay, please contact a speech-language pathologist in your area to set up an evaluation. Take a look at our FAQ page for information on developmental norms.
All products, games, apps I mention, I’ve used with my clients or my son–either for speech or just good ole’ education. I’ve met many wonderful moms, teachers, and other therapists throughout my career, so you’ll notice guest contributions from time to time. They are excellent resources. I only recommend the best!
I hope our resources help you in some way and if you have questions or ideas, by all means, let me know! And, I hope you find this is a space to laugh, have fun, get to know one another and learn! You’ll learn about me, my family and friends, and I hope to learn about you, as well!

Our recommendations don’t go without research, heart, joy, passion and possibly a little bit of wine to get through it all.
